About Me

My name is Surafel Dagne. I am an architectural designer with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, obtained in 2020. My professional journey began at Sabawiyan Consulting Architect and Engineer, where I initially worked as an intern. After moving to the United States in 2020, I transitioned to a remote contract architect role with the same firm, a position I have held for the past four years. During this time, I have successfully collaborated on various projects, providing design solutions and technical expertise across time zones. My experience spans from concept development and architectural visualization to detailed design and construction documentation, all while maintaining a high level of communication and project coordination with clients and teams in Ethiopia. I frequently travel back and forth to Ethiopia for ongoing projects, ensuring that I stay connected and involved in the design process on-site.
